Coworking am Riverboat, which the operator runs as the Chaos Coworking Space, is one of the oldest and most established coworking spaces in Leipzig and sits on the grounds of the Riverboat event venue, right by the water. It is a small, quiet place to work: 18 desks spread between an open coworking room and five small offices, and every member gets a fixed desk of their own. The people working here come from three continents, most of them from IT and the events business. A fixed desk costs €204 a month, €90 a week (Monday to Friday) or €25 as a day ticket from 9:00 to 17:00, all net of VAT. LAN and Wi-Fi, a colour laser printer, copier and scanner, coffee and filtered water are included, and members have access around the clock. For breaks there are a kitchen, a lounge, a garden, a covered terrace and the jetty; meetings can be held in the bistro, the lounge or outside by arrangement. Monitors are not provided, and the address cannot be used as a registered business address.
